If I can avoid or be protected from getting shit on by whales bigger than me, then it’s a whatever. I’m down for PvP and interaction, just not all the time. Losing a freighter of cargo to a whale in a capital ship would be a real feels bad moment. If there is enough PvE content, then it will be less of a problem by presenting co-op moments. Also I think warframe is grindy as hell and you absolutely get an advantage by paying money. It just doesn’t let you shit on other people.

The missions communications method is bad and the update method needs audio and graphical updates actually we need a sharp audio qué on mobi alerts because I don't notice the majority of them due to visual processing issues. Darkhour also because I mentioned fov and we kinda had similar reasons. Have stacking allers maybe allowing f click actions to dismiss. Really want ghost in the shell style vid call popups and allow them to be moved and scaled also allow up to 5 vid called in game at a time in group calls. If the mobi felt more like an phone app it would be cool

I just don't like pvp at all. Especially unconsented pvp. I think it's the most frustrating thing in multiplayer games.

I don’t care that people can pay more to have more power in the game, it creates natural “bosses” of various skill levels you can choose to engage or avoid, and means there could be beatable whales. This creates natural “skill” progression, not “item” progression…. Which is great. In a game where only the skilled get the best tools, you know you’ll never have a chance against them, and thus will never engage. This game allows the unskilled to have good tools, and allows skilled players with worse tools to take it from them…. That’s fun

well Tractor beams will def get a nerf because using them will require batteries and long as the Freght lift is agacent to the tractor beams on ships too that might be VERY important to make a note of. if we get simulated weight and boxes having phyiscs properties like liquid displacement makes the containers movements slosh around etc. idk i like how IN MY BRAIN CIG have been lately like you know when you get adverts for things you want well CIG have been doing a lot of that from last feb it's very weird how fast it's happening too. Thoughtless devs don't realize that pvp enabled gameplay is not pvp consented gameplay. It's only consentual when the exact activity can be played without the pvp.

I think you're right about the Sabre Raven Club, but there's the main Yacht Club and the 600i Yacht Club. The main focus of the Yacht Club is really the Bar Citizens. They do have different ranks within the Orgs depending on which luxury ship(s) you have in your Web Hangar (currently, 400i, Connie Phoenix, 600i, and 890 jump), but the Orgs and the Discords are open to anyone. I'm in both and will probably _never_ have an 890. It's a fun ship, but that's an _insane_ amount of money to spend on one ship, even if I could melt enough smaller ships, paint, and gear to get that much Store Credit. There are a lot of guys in the club with the 890 jump in their web hangar, and a lot that buy the upgrade to the current Legatus Pack every year, but I've never felt unwelcome even though I'm nowhere near that financially comfortable. Most of the players I've invited over the past few years just have Starter Packs with cheap sub-$100 ships, Auroras, Mustangs, and Cutters mostly. I have _heard_ about an 890 Jump Club, but I don't know anyone who is in it, and they all seem to be jerks based on the reception that Yacht Club members with aUEC-bought 890s have shown up at ship meets.

Buddy an I played StarCitizen last 3 evenings in a row... 1st night was hangups and crashes...2nd night was marginally better and managed to harvest some bunker gear and mineral boxes. 3rd night was 4 hangups and requisite crash with 30k errors 😬 Required game reboot after all 4 separate 30k errors. We lost the mineral boxes in the hangup which also required us to claim our now empty ships. What is happening to the game we love 🤔 We were in 3.23.1 First 2 nights with early game launcher. Last night was after updating to 2.01 launcher. We wiped Shaders and User each time. This is getting ridiculous. Try again tonight...

There's a video where Chris Roberts talks about how PvP is planned to be optional, and that 90% of the game will be PvE content. There's a reason why games like Rust, ARK, Tarkov has wipes to reset players and stunting power creep, in a game like this where PvP is open pretty much everywhere, power creep will become problem and eventually PvE players will never get strong enough to possibly defend themselves and eventually the game will lose those players.

Why would anyone want to do PVP when the game is pay to win. Like the average Joe with their auroras, mustangs, and avengers avoid other players that just dump real money to buy OP ships that they simply can't compete with. It's a problem with the very foundation of the game, a foundation that can't be changed without several major lawsuits.

All the defenders of those Advantage Purchases are the ones making those purchases.

Star citizen needs a capital or sub-capital (C2) sized interdictor ship that has a massive range. That solves the issues with small snare angles on routes and encourages multi-crew and PvP. If the snare can cover the diameter of a moon then it's an actual blockade. The thing to fix with this would be that after hitting the snare the cargo ship will be over 100km away from you if not even further and it would actually be difficult to travel to them to intercept them. One way to fix this would be to have the capital sized snare pull quantum routes to itself and drop prey a reasonable distance from the interdictor.

First off There is No such thing as PVE events, Just events. Events are for both sides of the Coin, Folks like me for example are going to defend the Idris or maybe a bunker and hold it. Because we are gonna be Anti UEE. Our small group are waiting for Pyro to see where we wanna role play a bit, If you are into the PVE side of thing run if ya can it is all part of the game. But what I will tell you is Random Hobo killers whine the loudest when you gank them. They are the most fun to kill

All they had to do was make it so you couldn't quantum jump during combat or have a timer on jumping the same way they did with logging out and bed logging and master modes could have been avoided🤷‍♂️

The issue is apart from the sale location, mining, trading and salvage rely on different stations across the map I remember only ever needing to travel to the L5 and L3 stations for the short time I tried ship mining

PVP players...in this game...are like EvE ones. They want to ruin the game for everyone that doesn't play the way they want to play. In real life, murder hobos don't exist due to morality and consequence of action. In video games you have NO morality, and CIG hasn't implemented consequence of action. Prison is a laughable short loop that no one views as any form of punishment. So the game has become "Star of Thieves" and less of a "Star Citizen." CIG's biggest mistake ever was making Stanton the starting system. New players are driven away by groups like Griefernet and things like that. Star Citizen, for this reason, has drawn the Tarkov and the EvE crowd which is notorious for griefers. Griefers by the actual definition, not the game definition. In that people who enjoy ruining the fun of others for the sake of only ruining the fun of others. No goal or intent beyond the grief of other players. Basically, assholes. River is a sign of this. He seems more butthurt that the game isn't his way. He inflates his numbers to justify his point while downplaying other player's experience. It's rather funny.

Its just that they promised more than they could do, marketed off it, pushed it back, repackaged and remarketed it, rinse repeat. Until their platform is stable, everything they add is a major patch. Server Meshing will be a nightmare. I could care less what they call the patches, but can they deliver on their promises. So far nope.

It doesn't 'just' need server meshing at all. It needs a minimal optimisation pass to make the game somewhat stable when it comes to the gameplay in the current build. It also needs a massive influx of players on F2P accounts to make this game actually successful. CIG needs to change their business model as this game is taking FAR too long to even put features into the game.

pay to win .. what? what are you "winning" other than maybe short term fights with other ships in space...what do you get? Is there a scoreboard where everyone will see that you killed that guy? Cause if there is no scoreboard like idea in the PU anywhere, no one cares and you personally win very little when you beat some rando in dogfight somewhere cause you had superior ship out of the gate. Sure you "paid to win" for that but what did you really win and for how long is that "advantage" last you once the PU is a couple years deep? Most players will be getting ships from their org and not even worrying about their starter ship... that thing will be getting dust in my hanger... my cutty black lmao. I think my org gives zero shits about and it will most likely just be used as an UBER to get back to my Org. . This is going to be an org based game for sure and you will solo from time to time just for the lolz.

I think that Eve doomed themselves to eventually having to sell skills because of the way they made progress in the game based on real time. If you were 100% efficient with skill training and grinding and it took 6 to 12 months of real world time before you were not getting wiped by the game's methuselah accounts that have been around since launch the number of new players wouldn't replace the attrition of people aging out or moving on. They would eventually have to find a way to level the playing field somewhat and a total restructure would piss off all the old players so they instead let people buy skills to try to catch up.

Honestly, considering I had to fight the game tooth and nail to not reset my Xenothreat progress for a 3rd time. If I had to experience a 4th due to PVP on top of that, it might not sit well with me, not gonna lie.

You cant even pay the people to make the ships for the skins to go on in a crowdfunded game if you only sell cosmetics.

Dude. 92% of the community is not excited for cargo hauling. Cargo hauling is supposed to involve hiring an escort, hiring scouts to check for Mantises, etc. You arent supposed to be able to go pick up a billion credits worth of cargo and then go sell it without anyone trying to get it. That is the whole point.
